More than 40 years experience in airport equipment!
Because of a precise enquiry in 1967, we developed an airport control cabin according to the guidelines of „ Bundesanstalt für Flugsicherung-BFS”. The cab has been prefabricated at Zepter facilities and afterwards locally mounted by Zepter's own assemblers. The cab received affirmation among experts. Through the years we created a standard program consisting of 9 different types of control cabins. Every requirement can be met by choosing one of the 9 available types. Of course we are able to build customized cabs exactly according to your requirements.
In the year 1975, the Zepter Flugtechnik GmbH - a result of the production our first tower cabs - was established as its own company. The follwing years our cabs were optimised and modernised. The result of this constant process are cabs which are totally maintenance-free at every climatic condition. Because of an aluminum facade mounted on the outer part of the cabin there is no need for painting the cabin anymore.

- Controlling-desks
- Air conditioning unit
- Meteorological equipment
- Signal spotlights etc.
Meanwhile more than 200 stationary and mobile cabs have been set into operation. Every Zepter-cab is fabricated according to the current sound- and heat-absorbing-stipulations. The completey air-conditioned shelters for different kinds of airport controlling systems, built for countries with extreme climatic conditions, have turned out to be very successful. For example, Zepter delivered mobile NDB-shelter and DF-shelter to Africa, mounted on a single-axle trailer. Furthermore Zepter produced a lot of mobile units for UHF applications. Besides, Zepter designed and manufactured meteorologic mobile stations with state-of-the-art equipment. The two-axle vehicles have one air-conditioned cabin with two working stations and a diesel-generator for an absolute autonomic operation.
